Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index grew by 27.72 points, or 1.03%, to 2,722.43 points in the second week of December, recording highest performance in six weeks.

Market capitalisation grew to AED 370.84 billion ($100.946 billion) over the week, compared to AED 365.686 billion ($99.543 billion) in the previous week.

Emirates NBD surged 5.4%, Dubai Islamic Bank added 0.19%, and Emaar Development gained 1.7%.

In contrast, Emaar Properties declined by 3.2% and Emaar Malls lost 1.6%.
