Muscat: Conditions are reassuring in Dhofar Governorate and shelters are ready and currently unoccupied, the Chairman of the Emergency Management Committee for Dhofar Governorate stated.
According to the Chairman of the Committee, on Sunday there were no reports of missing persons or deaths due to the heavy rains.
"The shelters are ready and the conditions have not worsened enough to activate them. The Committee is following up on efforts to deal with the situation and work is underway to repair affected roads, water networks and to remove waste pump out stagnant water."
