RIYADH — The president of the Saudi Electronic University Dr. Lailak Bint Ahmed Al-Safadi received on Monday the undersecretary at the Ministry of Education for Scholarships Dr. Lina Bint Muhammad Al-Taeimi, at the university's main headquarters here, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Dr. Lina Al-Taeimi toured the university’s electronic facilities, including the Digital Content Development Center and the virtual and smart classroom labs at the university’s headquarters.

She watched a visual presentation on the nature of the university’s work and what it has provided since its establishment and the efforts it has exerted since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, as the university was able to lead the electronic education movement, as it is a house of expertise and experience in the field of e-learning.

The president of the Saudi Electronic University said that the university is introducing a modern education system, harnessing its capabilities and potentials to serve the objectives of the Ministry of Education and its affiliates. It is working continuously to achieve its vision in employing technology in the education process and contributing to the digital transformation of education to be one of the most distinguished and pioneering universities in this field.

Meanwhile, the undersecretary at the Ministry of Education for Scholarships asserted that the ministry will not hesitate to provide the necessary support to the university at any time, praising the procedures followed and the extensive work and preparations the university has made since the outbreak of the pandemic.
