Precautionary sanitization operations undertaken by volunteers in their areas must be coordinated with the concerned governorate, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Saad Al Houti, Director General of Civil Defense, has said.

"The General Administration of Civil Defense is the authority responsible for training and qualifying volunteers and conducting precautionary sanitization operations, in cooperation and coordination with the kingdom’s governorates and security directorates," he said.

"Times and areas are determined in an orderly manner according to a specific schedule, which contributes to maintaining the safety of volunteers and residents of these areas and the protection of the environment."
