ArabFinance: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) are providing a technical assistance package for Egypts tourism industry amid COVID-19, according to a press release.

The program aims to incentivize job creation, support tourism enterprises, improve safety and health regulations, and provide tailor-made training programs, the statement added.

In December, EBRD provided a loan worth $12 million (EGP 188.41 million) to Al Dau Al Haram for Hotel Operations for the regeneration of a brownfield site into a Hyatt Regency hotel.
