Dubai state carrier Emirates airline said that the suspension on incoming passenger flights from India and Pakistan to the UAE has been extended until at least July 31. The suspension is subject to further review, the airline said.

On Monday, UAE's national carrier Etihad Airways said that flights from India to the UAE will remain suspended till 2 August.

The airline also said that the date coudl be extended based on directions from authorities.

However, UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated coronavirus protocols will be exempted to travel.
