RIYADH — The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) launched the “Muqeem Report Request” service through its “Muqeem” portal for electronic passport services.

The service enables the owners of establishments to issue an electronic report about any one of its employees so as to submit it to the agencies upon request.

The report would contain basic information about the expatriate, and it is considered as an official document approved by Jawazat without the need for documentation from any of its departments.

Any agency can verify the data in the report by reading a barcode or via the Muqeem portal. The report will be valid only for seven days from the date of issuance.

The Jawazat has also outlined the steps that enable the employer to take advantage of this service. This will be through entering the establishment’s account in Muqeem Gate, going to the Residents’ Administration and choosing the option to search for a resident, then entering the resident identity number or passport number, clicking on the resident file view, and from there choose the Resident Report service from the Passport Services menu to view the report information and then click print.

The Jawazat called on all establishments to take advantage of electronic passport services provided through the Muqeem portal to ensure speedy completion and quality service without the need to personally visit passport departments.
