Muscat: The Public Prosecution will only receive complaints and requests through its website and they will be responded to electronically. No one will be received at the office unless summoned.

This is a measure announced to deal with COVID-19. The Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary, said in a statement: "Work in the courts will be limited to pronouncing cases seized and reviewing cases of expenses in civil cases and grievances regarding decisions of imprisonment, circulars of arrest, travel bans and requests for release in cases where it has not yet been decided."
