AMMAN — Guest workers who wish to leave the Kingdom can register through the hemayeh.jo platform until August 16, Labour Minister Nidal Bataineh said on Thursday.
Guest workers and their families, who leave the Kingdom after their registration is accepted, will be exempted from residency fines and all other financial dues, such as work permit fees, given the current conditions.
Highlighting the ongoing coordination between the ministry and the Social Security Corporation to pay guest workers their benefits, Bataineh, in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that a departure date for the beneficiaries of the exemption scheme will be set in accordance with procedures related to organising flights to Arab and foreign countries.
