Riyadh –  The trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Vietnam valued at around $1.1 billion at the end of August 2019, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

This came on the sidelines of a meeting held on Sunday in Riyadh Chamber between a Vietnamese trade delegation and Saudi businessmen in the presence of Vietnamese ambassador to Riyadh Phu Viet Zhong, according to the state-run news agency.

The Vietnamese delegation includes 15 major companies specialised in the fields of food products, meat, medical, health equipment, agricultural products, construction, electrical materials, consultancy, and training of cadres.

This visit aims at reinforcing trade and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, as well as further boosting their volume of trade exchange.

During the meeting, Saudi businessmen and the delegation’s members have tackled possible investment opportunities available in the two countries.
