Abu Dhabi: The CEO of environmental management company Bee'ah said that its new headquarters in the emirate of Sharjah, which was designed by renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, will be opened in the summer of 2019.

Work on the new HQ is in its final stages, Arabian Business reported, citing CEO Khaled Al Huraimel.

“This will be the first building in the region to have full artificial intelligence (AI) integration,” he added.

Bee'ah,the Middle East’s fastest-growing environmental management firm founded in 2007, aims at creating a sustainable future through creative and resourceful solutions.

The sand dunes-inspired building has been designed to have zero net energy consumption, and it will be fully powered by renewable energy, including passive solar power and wind power.

The building will use facial recognition to engage with visitors and ‘unlock’ smart functions that offer guidance, help book appointments, document information, review staff duties, allocate resources and auto-fill applications.

Moreover, it will use robots to help host meetings and perform multimedia functions.

“In addition to enhancing the smart capabilities of our HQ, we believe this system, once rolled out, will have a tangible impact on the operations of governments and entities across the region,” Huraimel said.
