UAE's Etisalat Group CEO Saleh Al Abdooli resigns

Telecom company appoints Hatem Dowidar as acting CEO

Etisalat Group has announced the resignation of Saleh Al Abdooli as the group's CEO.

Al Abdooli has resigned due to personal reasons. The board of directors accepted the resignation and appointed Hatem Dowidar as Acting CEO for the Group, the group said in a statement.

Hatem Dowidar joined Etisalat Group in September 2015 as Group Chief Operating Officer and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, International of Etisalat Group in March 2016.
