Muscat: Expatriates as well as tourists who have accrued fines during their stay in Oman can now pay them through a new electronic service system launched by the Royal Oman Police.

This e-service will let them pay fines “related to the expiration of visit and residence visas and traffic fines, with a view to facilitate the departure procedures. To benefit from this service, please visit our website, , to fill the electronic form, pay the fines, if any, and print the payment receipt electronically.”

Once the fines have been paid, those departing Oman can then proceed to the passport control counters and finish their departure procedures.
