Petrotrade halts in-house gas consumption reading

ArabFinance: Gas bills collectors will not enter houses to read the consumed meters, Chairman of Petrotrade Waseem Wahdan announced.

The collectors will only receive the payment of previous consumption, Wahdan explained.

He added that citizens can use several methods to enter their gas consumption and pay the bill.

For registering gas meters, people can use https://www.petrotrade.com.eg/web/enq.html.

Meanwhile, people can use https://www.petrotrade.com.eg/web/paymentb.html to pay gas bills.

In addition, bill payment can also be found at merchandise who are subscribed to Fawry, Momkn, Bee, Masary, Khadamaty, and Aman e-payment services.

Wahdan added that the National Bank of Egypt’s (NBE) clients can use Vodafone Cash service to pay the bill.

However, registering the consumption input and knowing the bill value can be done through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) 5727 for mobile and 09000727 for landline.

Also, Petrotrade customer service receives gas consumption on 1122 from mobile phones.

Wahdan clarified that this move comes in line with the precautionary measures taken to curb the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
