DUBAI, July 13 (Reuters) - Oman's Raysut Cement reported a 2.4 percent decrease in second-quarter net profit on Wednesday, according to Reuters calculations.
The largest cement firm by market value in the sultanate made 4.82 million rials ($12.52 million) in the three months ending June 30, Reuters calculated based on previous financial statements in lieu of a quarterly breakdown.
This compared with 4.94 million rials in the same period of 2015.
EFG Hermes forecast the company would make a quarterly net profit of 5.58 million rials, while Gulf Baader Capital Markets forecast a net profit of 6.53 million rials.
The company posted a first-half profit after tax of 12.91 million rials, compared to 10.96 million rials a year ago, it said in a statement to the Omani bourse.
