Doha - The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) USA nominated Sundaresan Rajeswar (pictured), the IIA- Qatar founder Board member and past president in the IIA Global Research Foundation's Committee of Research and Education Advisors effective July 2016.

The mission of this committee is to provide internal audit profession with the information needed to anticipate and react to important external and internal factors that could have material impact on the practice of internal auditing.

Members are chosen based on expertise in the field, leadership in the past IIA activities, and commitment to the institute's vision and goals. "It is through contribution of members like you that the institute is able to maintain its leadership in advancing the profession of internal auditing" stated Angela Witzany, Chairman of the IIA Board Nominee in her communication.

"This is an opportunity to consummate personal satisfaction of shaping the future of the internal auditing profession, gain exposure to professional issues worldwide, broaden knowledge, share perspectives from Qatar and develop bonds of camaraderie" said Rajeswar.

Rajeswar is a Chartered Accountant from India and has acquired gamut of audit specialty qualifications. He is head of audit of Teyseer Group.
