Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) on Saturday signed a contract with Helwan Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 99), United Group, and Nigeria’s Rongas to establish a new company for manufacturing of gas cylinders.

The new company – to be named Rongas Industrial Egypt – will be a joint-stock company for the manufacturing of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders and compressed natural gas (CNG) cylinders for vehicles, according to a statement.

The contract is aimed at the exchange of experience between its four parties to increase local components in manufacturing in relevant sectors.

This will promote the participation of local industries in national projects and open new markets for Egyptian products.
