A number of initiatives have been launched by philanthropic organizations in the Kingdom to mitigate the widespread economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis, primarily by supporting affected Saudis find suitable jobs.

One such initiative launched last year during the lockdown by Bab Rizq Jameel, part of Community Jameel, is Fazaa Tech. Serving all segments of society, Fazaa Tech linked job seekers with people requesting services during the lockdown.

Another program, the Modern Age Occupations Initiative, devised a unique methodology for developing manpower by advancing their digital skills and capabilities so that their skills match modern job requirements.

Kalam Jameel is another program, which aims to provide rich and inspiring audio content about entrepreneurship and business growth.

A Bab Rizq Jameel initiative, Tawteen helps institutions nationalize jobs and implement the ministerial resolution of the provision of 1,370 job opportunities for qualified Saudi cadres.

Tahseen creates seasonal and interim job opportunities to help individuals earn an additional income. Last year, Tahseen provided a record 24,406 seasonal jobs for both men and women.

Tayseer, which aims to enable young people to gain experience in various fields, offered 2,644 job opportunities.
