The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) will be setting up with ExxonMobil Qatar a joint training and technical support programme for its employees in the field of analysis and monitoring during 2023. The partnership was announced during a visit by a delegation from the Environmental Monitoring and Inspection Department at the MoECC to ExxonMobil Research Qatar (EMRQ) at the Qatar Science and Technology Park, a statement said.
Engineer Hassan al-Qasimi, director of the Environmental Monitoring and Inspection Department, and a number of specialists from the MoECC's Environmental Laboratory Department, were received by Dr Ismail al-Sheikh, technical research supervisor at EMRQ. The co-operation comes within the framework of supporting the MoECC's efforts to preserve the environment and wildlife in Qatar, the statement added.
