Qatar is expected to witness strong windy conditions from Saturday, according to the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).

“The country is expected to be affected by fresh to strong Northwesterly winds and gust exceeds 35 KT inshore and offshore from Saturday until the middle of next week causing blowing dust at times and an increase in the feeling of coldness,” the QMD said.

The marine warning continues during this period, it added.
