India-headquartered construction and engineering multinational Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Tuesday that its construction division has secured engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders from India and the UAE for grid infrastructure projects.
The company said in a press statement that in the UAE, L&T Construction’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) Business won an order to supply, construct, test, and commission a 132kV substation in the UAE.
The statement didn’t disclose the client’s name or order value but said it was a ‘significant’ order in the range of INR 1,000 to 2,500 crores ($122 million - $305 million).
