France-based global infrastructure and mobility consultancy Egis announced on Tuesday that it has opened its Saudi headquarters in capital Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The new head office will be the company's third corporate office in the Kingdom after Jeddah and Al Khobar, and also the largest corporate office in the Middle East, according to a press statement by Egis.

The company has been operating in Saudi Arabia for almost 30 years and is currently working on more than 25 projects spread across the Kingdom including Green Riyadh, which aims to plant 7.5 million trees, Riyadh Metro, one of the world’s most extensive transit projects and a new international airport in the ultra-luxury destination located along Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast.

Laurent Germain, CEO, Egis Group said: "Some of the most ambitious programs in the world are in Saudi Arabia and it's critical that we meet our clients’ needs with the required support that serve them most effectively."

Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador of France to the Kingdom added that Egis is fully aligned with the National Investment Strategy of Saudi Arabia, which aims to make the Kingdom a world-class destination for international investors.
