Morocco’s government has approved 26 projects with an investment of 28.5 billion Moroccan dinars ($2.45 billion) for 2023, a local media reported.

The approved projects are primarily clustered in the industry, tourism and higher education sectors, Morocco World News said, citing an official statement from the investment commission.

The panel has examined 12 draft agreements and 14 amendments, the report said, adding the projects will create more than 3,735 direct jobs and 23,182 indirect jobs.
