Egypt eyes up to $2bln in revenues from Mokattam Corniche project: Minister

Egypt’s mega project to rehabilitate Mokattam Corniche could garner revenues of more than EGP 60 billion, Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat stated on March 18th.

Esmat’s announcement came during the signing ceremony of a contract with the Foster + Partners to carry out the design of the project, which is being implemented in collaboration between El Nasr Housing and Development and Scope Properties.

The minister reaffirmed the support of partnership with the private sector, referring to partnerships that are worth over EGP 10 billion in various sectors affiliated with the ministry.
