Egypt - The Chinese Three Gorges International Corporation (CTGI) is looking forward to boosting cooperation with Egypt in the fields of electricity and renewable energy, as well as in water desalination and green hydrogen projects, Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy stated on April 10th.

Within the Electricity Ministry’s efforts, minister Mohamed Shaker met with CEO of CTGI and his accompanying delegation to discuss further cooperation between the two sides.

Shaker stressed the importance of green hydrogen as a promising source of energy in the near future.

CTGI’s CEO also expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation with Egypt, which is deemed as the gateway to the African continent.
