Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) further enhances its prominence as a leading Middle Eastern manufacturer of air conditioning systems, by introducing enhanced Application Software to enable its central air conditioning solutions to be perfectly matched to the specific cooling requirements of any building type and size.  The company’s ‘Zamil AC e-Selector’ software – as used by ZAC dealers and engineers as well as by contractors and consultants in the design phase of building projects – ultimately offers financial benefits to building owners and operators.

“By complying with the parameters of the application, construction industry experts in Saudi Arabia can now ensure the most suitable central air conditioning systems are identified for specific building types and sizes, and this ‘right matching’ alignment can result in financial savings through power consumption efficiencies,” said Mr. Abdullah Al Zamil, Senior Vice President, ZAC.

“The recommendation of a particular climate control system is based upon pre-determined building criteria applicable to the harsh climate in Saudi Arabia.  This software provides the engineer with various  AC unit options for a certain application, and then the engineer  selects the option that he believes is most suitable. This software is a consistently perfect facilitator as it enables the deployment of an optimal solution which produces the convenient temperature while at the same time minimises the negative impact of under or over capacity products,” added Mr. Al Zamil.

The software was launched through a series of customer-focused seminars which have already been held in Jeddah and Riyadh, and which will take place in Dammam during February.  The attending audiences include some 200 ZAC engineers and dealers as well as consultants and contractors from within the Kingdom.  An overview of ZAC’s growing product portfolio is also featured among the seminar topics.

Committed to furthering the sophistication and development of the HVAC industry, ZAC intends to create international versions of its proprietary software in line with its growing export business to global markets.
