Bahrain: 21th March, 2005: Who is Bahrain's Best Mum? Yusif bin Yusif Fakhro, one of Bahrain's most trusted names in home appliances, together with leading appliances manufacturer, Frigidaire, will celebrate Mother's Day in style with a Bahrain-wide search for Bahrain's Best Mum.
The search starts this Monday, 21st March; Arab Mother's Day, and is being organized through the Yusif bin Yusif Fakhro showroom on Sehla Road, where from 21st March until May 10th, sons, daughters, fathers, sisters, brothers and even best friends - are invited to collect and complete the official entry coupon on behalf of the mum they wish to nominate.
Entry is easy and does not require purchase. In no more than 25 words, simply say why you think your mum - or the mum you are nominating, is 'Bahrain's Best Mum' and drop your completed entry coupon into the official collection box. The winning mum will be announced on May 11th which is International Mother's Day. On that day, 'Bahrain's Best Mum' will be presented with a Frigidaire surprise appliance, as well as a host of other surprise gifts with the compliments of Yusif bin Yusif Fakhro and Frigidaire.

All across the world, more than 46 countries honor mothers with a special day, but not all nations celebrate on the same day. In the United States, Mother's Day is always celebrated on the second Sunday in May. Many other countries such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia and Belgium also celebrate Mother's Day on the same day as the United States. England, however, celebrates Mother's Day on the fourth Sunday of Lent, and in Argentina it is the second Sunday in October. In the Arab world, Mother's Day is celebrated on March 21st. International Mother's Day is celebrated on May 11.
