(Dubai) Yellow Hat, the Middle East's first auto accessories superstore, is giving away tickets to the finale of the five-round Grand Racing season on April 11 and 12, 2008.
All customers who buy Dhs 100 worth of products from the Times Square Yellow Hat superstore will receive an invite to the Grand Dubai Racing Event at the Autodrome, which has a total prize purse of Dhs11 million.
One of the top events on the racing calendar, former world champion Jacques Villeneuve will take star billing, battling luminaries such as Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert and Matthias Lauda. Local hero, Shaikh Hasher Al Maktoum, will be taking part, while Team ACI has drafted former Formula One driver Pedro Lamy to add to the occasion.
And 27 year old Californian driver, Sam Zian, who has been in Dubai since 2003, will drive a Yellow Hat sponsored Honda S2000 in the race.
He said: "This is the first step for Yellow Hat in automotive sports in the region and I am delighted to be driving for Yellow Hat during this high profile race."
