The Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team
Jeddah- 9 January 2005 The history of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team began in 1960. At first they were known as the "Box Trener", later as "Sky Box" - and for decades the names stood for superlative flying expertise. The aerobatics team was first established on a small airfield in Chrudim, about 100km north-east of Prague, and very soon became legendary. Using the best aerobatics aircraft of the 1960s, four friends - Tlusty, Struz, Bezak and Klimenda - began practising their so-called "Zlin Trener" maximum precision formation flying. In 1990 the team became the Flying Bulls Aerobatics team.
The Pilots Jiri Saller, Daniel Polonec, Miroslav Krejci and Radka Machova, together have logged more than 35,000 flying hours.
Radoslava Machova: born in 14. January 1949, graduated from the University of Transport and Trade in Prague as a specialist in aviation and air transport. Obtained a license from the university a private pilot's in 1971, and in 1976 went into aerobatics.
Together with Jiri Saller, they were also members of the Czechoslovakian national aerobatics team for a couple of years. Holding a professional pilot's license to manage a small air transport company and fly businesspeople and VIPs in business jets. Taking part since 2001 in the training sessions of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team and took over Jiri Tlusty's position as leader since the end of 2002. The team appreciates the experience of there leader as a pilot for whom safety is highly important.
Radoslava completed a number of 750 flights to date and flies the following type of Aircraft: Zlin 126,226,526, Zin 42, 142, 43, Zlin 50, Socata TB 10, Cessna 150/152
Achievements: Solo - Champion of Czechoslovak Republic- 1981. Hobbies: photography, diving, skiing and traveling.
Saller, Jioi: Born in 17 September 1952. Born on "Aviation Day" at Hradec Kralove airport, Jiri was predestined to become a pilot himself. Since he started flying in 1968, he achieved more than 5,200 flying hours, more than half of which being aerobatics hours, he is certainly among the most experienced aerobatics pilots worldwide. A member of the Czechoslovak aerobatic team for many years, Jiri won the European Aerobatics Championship with his team in 1985, finishing third as a solo pilot. Jiri has been the left wingman of the team since 1990, and also flies barrel rolls in the mirror formation. He likes to spend his spare time in his weekend house in the beautiful Czech countryside, far away from all the stress and strains of everyday life.
Jiri flies the following aircrafts : Z 126,226,526,42,142,242,37,43,50, L 60, L200, Cessna 172 RG.

Miroslav Krejei: Born in 8 March 1956. Miroslav, who holds a degree in computer science, is a flight instructor and member of the Czech national team in precision flying (requiring the pilot to navigate perfectly, making pinpoint landings, or finding certain markings or places within a short time, etc.). He completed his education in flying form the Military aviation high school, training camps for instructors and test pilots.
He achieved more then 2,200 flying hours since his 1st flight in 1977. He joined the team in 1997 and is the right wingman in formation flying. Miroslav is a computer specialist (flight simulator specialist) and loves everything that has to do with aviation.
Miroslav flies the following aircrafts: Z-50LX, Z-126, Z-226, Z-526F, Z-42, Z-43, Z-142, Z-242L, L-40, L-60S, Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Velox, Edge 540, L-13, VT-16, VT-116, VSO-10
Achievements: 2.nd at international championship in precision flying I Hungary, 12th at World Championship in precision flying in Chile, Od ervna 1997 prav k??dlo SkyBox /Flying Bulls. Awards: joining the SKY BOX / Flying Bulls team, Diploma dhonour FAI. Participation: World and European championships in precision flying, since 1997 all events of SkyBox / Flying Bulls
Polonec Daniel: Born in 13 October 1948, Daniel is an agricultural/fire-fighting pilot, and an extremely experienced one with more than 5,300 flying hours ever since he started flying in 1996. He has been a member of the team since 1990 and flies the very demanding "slot position." He has been flying the "mirror formation" since 1995 (bottom, flying in a normal position).
Polonec flies the following aircrafts: Aircraft: Z126, 226, 326, 526, 726, R7, L40, L200, Z 50
Achievements: 4x Slovak champion in aerobatics, 11th at World championship, Awards: Diploma dhonour FAI.
