Xerox Innovations Debut at GITEX 2007

Xerox brings a host of leading-edge colour printing solutions for the enterprise, SMB and consumer segments

Dubai, UAE - 13 August 2007 - Xerox, the global leader in document management solutions, is celebrating 65 years of innovation and pioneering research and introducing a number of exciting new product innovations at GITEX Dubai 2007. The product line-up will include a comprehensive portfolio of advanced printing and multifunction systems aimed at enterprise & SMB businesses in addition to a wide range of more affordable printing solutions for personal use.

Xerox MEA will be participating through their Master Distributor for Office Printing Business, Computer Communications System (CCS), displaying their latest products for printing solutions their biggest stand yet, double the size of GITEX 2006.

As the leader in colour technology and services, Xerox will be bringing its expertise to GITEX to further highlight the growing importance of colour in the office. The strategy is building on the success achieved with the 'Colour everywhere' strategy initially launched in 2001 and which has recently been imitated by other market players.

At the show, Xerox MEA will announce a major regional partnership as part of its continuous efforts to further strengthen its distribution network in the region.

Xerox will be expanding the productivity and security of its office multifunction printers with a new software platform tailored to meet document management needs in areas such as hospitality, retail, finance and healthcare. Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) brings a whole new world of possibilities to the Xerox multifunction printer (MFP). EIP allows customers to customize the MFP to the organization's particular needs as opposed to forcing the company to adapt to a machine's generic presets.

Xerox Solutions Marketing Manager- Solutions, Andres Losada will be on the stand to give visitors an in-depth insight into the wide variety of Solutions that can be integrated with Xerox MFPs and the real benefits to customers.

Xerox will be also putting the spotlight on their new, more affordable MFPs, for small office and/or personal use, designed to deliver colour, speed and performance at a competitive price. On the stand, the Xerox team will be demonstrating to retail consumers and small businesses alike the benefits of their colour solutions as well as illustrating how the total cost of ownership (TCO) delivers extremely competitive returns on investment.

Xerox's Printing solutions that will be making their debut at GITEX 2007 include digital multifunction systems, monochrome & colour laser printers, digital copiers, network printers, and workgroup solutions targeted at SMBs and consumers:
The Phaser 3200, Xerox's new affordable black-and-white multifunction printer, designed to help businesses of all sizes increase efficiency and productivity. The Xerox Phaser® 3200MFP packs print, copy, fax and color-scanning features into a compact device that is inexpensive and easy to use with features that make it more secure and greener.

The Phaser 6110, which boasts high-quality colour laser printing and small footprint, and is lightweight and quiet. With several advanced features such as booklet printing, poster creation and manual-duplex printing, it also provides flexibility for consumers to create everything from sales proposals and presentations to promotional brochures.

The Phaser 4510, a new black-and-white network laser printer packed with advanced features to help workgroups in companies of all sizes work more efficiently at a price that won't break the bank.

The Xerox Phaser® 6360, with speeds of up to 42 ppm in color and black and white, is the world's fastest letter-size color laser printer. Equipped with a 1GHz processor to handle multiple complex print jobs, it delivers the first-page-out in as fast as 9 seconds.

The Xerox Phaser 6180, color laser printer with speeds up to 20 color pages per minute and 26 ppm in black and white, gives offices lots of features at an affordable price.

The DocuMate 152 is the only duplex scanner to include Kofax VRS, which is directly integrated into the OneTouch scanner driver rather than bundled as a separate utility.

Also debuting at GITEX will be Xerox's Wide format solutions. The Xerox 8265/8365 solvent systems are ideal for both high quality indoor work such as photo blow-ups, posters, signs, banners, point-of-sale material and back-lit displays as well as durable outdoor applications including billboards, exhibition graphics, signage, posters and vehicle graphics.
