Dubai, 28 October, 2007: The Microsoft Xbox 360 racing team has begun its challenge in the 24 Hour Endurance race at the Dubai Autodrome. The race started at 2pm with the first driver from the team, Matt Mccluskey, zooming his way around the track.

"The qualifying event we held at Dubai Knowledge Village was a great success and saw the best 10 car racing drivers on the Xbox 360 form the team. "
The Xbox 360 racing team was created for the launch of the biggest racing game yet on the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, 'Project Gotham Racing 4™' (Bizarre Creations/Microsoft Games Studio), a high-adrenalin arcade racing title which rewards players with death-defying slides and sideways driving. The latest release in the Project Gotham Racing series, the enhanced PGR4 game features dynamic weather effects, iconic new vehicles including motorcycles and an emotionally charged unique gaming experience that focuses not just on speed but also on style and daring.
The endurance race will see the team; Mohammad Zunayed, James Mummey, Alexander Antoniaiades, McNeil Lopez, Matt Mccluskey, Michael Gilmour, Chris Milbourne, Prateik, Zoheb Somjee, and Eduardo Bauzon, racing in turns for 24 hours.
