Top-tier employers and recruitment experts in Egypt gathered at ‘WUZZUF Unlock’18’. At the one of a kind event, WUZZUF announced the launch of its platform, presenting high-end technology solutions in the recruitment industry and egyptian job market. The number one recruitment platform in Egypt got a new interface, upgraded features, and a re-engineered experience.
Among 500 key players in the recruitment industry and job market in Egypt were the first to experience WUZZUF new platform. Ameer Sherif, WUZZUF’s CEO, kicked off Unlock’18 event by his talk announcing “With the new Updates on WUZZUF platform, we are able to unlock the future of recruitment. Following Sherif, there were various talks explaining the new features in detail, demonstrating how the new features and updates will help employers and professionals. WUZZUF’s bright minds behind the revolutionary upgrades in the platform discussed the new features including the revamped user interface that will make it easier for employers to find the right candidates and the professionals to find the right job.
“The invite-to-apply feature will now enable employers to save time and money by having the ability to invite candidates to apply for a specific job. In addition, the new flexible shortlisting funnels will give more control to the employer, and decrease the time spent on screening and filtering.” Abdelwahab, a product manager at WUZZUF stated in his talk announcing the new features. Islam Ameen, Product Manager, emphasized the importance of how job posts qualities not only attract more applicants but also attracts better ones. He also presented the new WUZZUF AI that will help employers post better jobs faster and easier.

The Professional’s NEW platform
The new and upgraded features announced in the event, include “Explore” dashboard, easier faster sign-up flow, more control over profile visibility and easier tracking for applications. The whole experience has been revamped to be easier and faster for the professionals searching for a job or a career opportunity to excel at their jobs.
The Explore dashboard, the new feature, suggests and delivers various career opportunities according to the professional’s career interests and background, while the revamped signup flow helps professionals fill in the needed information to move on to the job hunting smoothly. The tracking feature allows the professional to know if their application has been viewed, shortlisted, contacted, or rejected.
New Design & More Control
WUZZUF’s new professionals' profile is completely re-designed and re-constructed so they can use it as an online resume, however, they always have the full control over their profiles’ privacy, whether they make it public, closed to employers on WUZZUF, or even private. The new profile design and structure highlight the professional’s skills and core competencies, which helps employers spot the right talents right away.
The Revolutionized Employers’ ATS
The totally new Inbox that will be launched soon has been introduced to the employers at WUZZUF Unlock’18 event. Based on feedback, research and endless focus groups WUZZUF redesigned the inbox feature, so the easy hiring through WUZZUF gets much easier.
Now the employer visibility is unprecedented, the most important information that they need to see to filter and screen the applicants can be skimmed in a glance, giving the employer the ability to quickly take actions. Dashboard AI Assistant
The new employer dashboard, to be launched soon, includes now an AI-powered assistant, which will help employers make better decisions throughout the hiring process. With advanced algorithms, the AI-assistant will recommend relevant candidates from WUZZUF’s rich database, notify them with relevant profiles, and guide them through the screening process.
This launch comes at the back of WUZZUF’s recent announcement of securing the largest funding round by European VCs. WUZZUF has just closed a Series B of $6 million from EBRD, Sweden-based Vostok New Ventures, Endure capital and Kingsway capital, in addition to previous investment from UK based Piton capital 500 Startups and Endure Capital. This is considered the largest fundraising round in for an Egyptian start-up for a long time.
