White Aluminium Extrusion Now ISO 9001: 2008, QUALICOAT and Jotun PE-SDF Approved Applicator Certified Extrusion Outfit

Dubai-UAE: 24 June, 2011 - White Aluminium Extrusion LLC, a joint venture between Masharie LLC, a private equity arm of Dubai Investments PJSC, and White Aluminium Enterprises LLC, today announced it has received several industry recognitions including the ISO 9001:2008, QUALICOAT and Jotun PE-SDF Approved Applicator Certification.

The certification was awarded for establishing and maintaining a highly effective and efficient Quality Management System, thus demonstrating White Aluminium Extrusion's commitment to continued quality improvement.  White Aluminium Extrusion has bagged this certification within three years of commercial operation.

The ISO 9001:2008, which White Aluminium Extrusion has received, specifies stringent requirements that a quality management system must meet to achieve this certification. Some of the essential compliances include consistency in providing products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, and continual improvement of processes and systems. The certification was awarded by SGS Group, a global leader in independent testing and assessment services, after a comprehensive ISO 9001:2008 audit of White Aluminium Extrusion.

White Aluminium Extrusion received QUALICOAT Certification for powder coating processes and products as a result of its modern and state-of-the-art vertical powder coating line.

Switzerland- based QUALICOAT is an international quality organization committed to maintain and promote the quality of lacquering, painting and coating on aluminium and aluminium alloy surfaces for architectural applications. QUALICOAT outlines and approves the criteria for the critical elements of powder application, including pre-treatment, plant, powder, process control and testing.

Operating for over 25 years, QUALICOAT is considered an international benchmark of quality, relevant to local and imported powder coatings. After thorough inspection, White Aluminium Extrusion was awarded the Quality Certificate by QUALICOAT.

White Aluminium Extrusion has also obtained the 'Jotun PE-SDF Approved Applicator' certification following a thorough assessment of its vertical powder coating system.

Similar to QUALICOAT certification requirements, Jotun has implemented a PE-SDF certification to ensure that the application of its powder coatings is being carried out to the highest quality standards. A series of audits conducted by the Jotun technical team confirmed that White Aluminium Extrusion completely satisfies all the requirements of the Jotun SDF certification. The certification has enabled White Aluminium Extrusion to be listed among the ranks of Jotun's 'Approved Applicators', which in turn is widely circulated to architects, consultants, traders and fabricators across the Middle East.

The milestones are in line with White Aluminium Extrusion's vision and deep commitment to reiterate the highest standards of quality in aluminium extrusion. Aimed at further enhancing the quality of its products, White Aluminium Extrusion will continue to invest in the latest technology and adopt new processes.
