Muscat: Students seeking to live the American dream may start making that dream a reality by pursuing an American higher education. 23 Colleges and universities from USA will be making their presence felt at GHEDEX 2013 from 23rd -25th April, 2013 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Statistics show over 500,000 international students pursuing their higher education degrees in the U.S. There are several reasons why students choose American colleges and universities and why an American higher education degree holds so much value with leading employers. Besides supporting flexibility in course curriculum, US higher education institutions are ideal for students pursuing careers in the field of technology and research. Holtz. There has been a dramatic increase in student visas issued to Omanis for study in the U.S.--rising from 124 visas issued in 2010 to 901 student visas issued in 2012.
