Dubai: NADIA Global, The Gulf’s #1 Recruiter and Training Institutes, announced the enhancement of its existing training programs to provide relevant courses to respond to demand from women. The high standards of NADIA Global’s training enables women to learn how to better balance their personal and business life in addition to empowering the female population of UAE.
According to a NADIA Global report, demand from female job seekers in UAE is coming from women in their twenties and early thirties and the most popular sectors for job applications include banking, commerce, logistics, hospitality, retail and healthcare. Emirati women are more interested in applying for governmental jobs. Additionally, the report stated that 35 percent of job seekers are from the Philippines, with an equal proportion from India, whereas 20 percent of female job seekers are from Arab nationalities and 10 percent from other nationalities.
Moreover, according to the annual report of the Arab Women Studies Centre of the Arab Women Foundation, the UAE has ranked first in the Arab world and among developed countries for women’s rights since 2017. The government has also actively advocated for, promoted and involved women in several sectors such as renewable energy, engineering, space research, aviation and more.
Ajay Malhotra, CEO of NADIA Global and The GWB Group said: “We are very keen to support the public and private sectors in the UAE with the provision of extensive quality training programs to further empower women’s roles in different key sectors, including governmental positions.”
“Women have the opportunity to enhance their careers in the UAE, by taking up leadership roles and starting their own businesses, which really reflects positively on society in the country. By training and developing an increasing number of women for important management roles and specialist jobs, it assists the UAE in maximising its economic potential and helps businesses attain a more diverse talent pool. Some of the courses that NADIA Global prioritises for women are Human resources and Training, Digital Innovation and Transformation, leadership and supervisory skills, in addition to more programs related to the soft skills and self-development,” commented Alisha Malhotra, Executive Director of NADIA Global.
“Businesses have always stressed the importance of effectively using manpower, but for the UAE, womanpower is a key driver for economic growth. United Arab Emirates has provided a platform for a number of women to create diverse and profitable businesses, most notably: Donna Benton, founder of The Entertainer; Linda Mahony, founder of Better Homes; Mona Ataya, founder of Mumzworld and Anita Fernandes, founder of NADIA Global,” added, Ajay Malhotra.
Women around UAE are part of the nation’s growth and many provide stability for their families through employment. The country recognises the importance of a diverse workplace and through its government and rulers, it is facilitating productive work environments to help women achieve their career aspirations and showcase their abilities to help shape the world in a positive manner from within the heart of the UAE.
