A leading UAE distributor has discussed the challenges and opportunities in Global Healthcare Retailing at the 2008 Mentholatum[i] Distributor Conference[ii] at Cameron House on the shores of Loch Lomond in Scotland.

Mentholatums UAE distributor Noel Coelho discussed and shared his experience in the UAE market with fellow distributors from Russia, Kenya, Baltics, Ukraine, Russia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Albania, Ireland and Poland.

The event also included a seminar by guest speaker Brian Moore[iii], a leading authority on global healthcare retailing, as well as keynote presentations by Mentholatums Senior Management team on a range of topics, including NPD, the organisations growth plans and the companys 10 million Springboard factory investment[iv] project in East Kilbride.

Noel Coelho comments, The event proved that the UAE has plenty to offer the global healthcare retailing community and also that people from Europe, the Middle East and Africa can work together as a team to achieve success.   

Mentholatum Managing Director And Vice President For Europe, The Middle East And Africa, Andrew Tasker, comments, The issues highlighted by Noel Coelho and the other distributors will form a major part of Mentholatums plans to maximise current and future opportunities in global healthcare retailing.
