Pentominium - the most luxurious residential proposition in the world, first launched in Dubai to be franchised
TIH currently in talks with leading developers from Europe, Asia and North America
11 March 2008, Dubai, UAE: Dubai-based luxury property development company Trident International Holdings (TIH) today announced at MIPIM that it would be "franchising" its world famous Pentominium Residential Tower brand across the globe. TIH, which had launched the first 516 metre tall 120 floor high ultra luxury residential tower less than a year ago in Dubai, is already in talks with a number of developers in Europe, Asia and North America.
The result could see the unique Pentominium brand in the UK, France, India, Russia, Singapore as well as the United States.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Wazir Daredia, CEO and Executive Director of TIH, said: "Over the years several developers have started making their propositions "luxury" without understanding the nuances of it. To understand the concept of "luxury" is to understand the needs of the luxury sensitive consumer. This tower will be part of history and we now want to let other markets take advantage of that. It is this understanding which has continually differentiated Trident from other developers."
Dubbed the the world's tallest residential tower, the Pentominium concept was first revealed by TIH at MIPIM and has since become the "benchmark in luxury living", defining standards of the rapidly emerging and in-demand "concept realty".
TIH has developed a unique franchise model and is preparing to work with selected developers to develop this one of a kind residential proposition.
All the facets and attributes related to Pentominium, are now IPR of Trident International Holdings. The group has protected the concept in order to maintain the exclusivity and ''snobbisme'' attached to the project.
Pentominium boasts of a unique model of luxury development which includes strategic alliances with names such as Rolls-Royce, Swarovski, Davidoff, Azimut Yachts, Tiffany & Co., Bang & Olufsen, Six Senses Spas, Quintessentially, Hirsch Bedner Associates and Aedas. The 516 metres 120 floor Pentominium Tower is now under construction in Dubai and is due for completion in 2011.
The Pentominium is widely seen by the media as the most luxurious residential proposition in the world. The residential tower has already won 5 CNBC Property Awards for 2007 and been nominated for the CNBC Best International Property Award; all results of the significant interest the Pentominium has drawn.
Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, one of Germany's leading Sunday newspaper editions featured the Pentominium as one of the most luxurious residential propositions in the world today. The weekend Journal Handelsblatt, also from Germany, went on to capture the essence of the luxury proposition: "Do you want to invest in where you live, or do you want to live where you invest?"
As for November 8th's issue of Property Weekly, a one page story was dedicated by the editor focusing on the Pentominium's luxury factors weighing in on the brand alliances which make this particular project quite unique in concept.
