Mobility Point 432 poised to draw strong interest from visitors looking for the latest enterprise-class solution for 802.11n network

Trapeze Networks, the award-winning global provider of Smart Mobile wireless solutions, in collaboration with East Meets West (EMW), its Gold Distributor for the Middle East, has announced that it will present its newly developed range of Smart Mobile products, including the groundbreaking Mobility Point 432 (MP-432), which is the industry's highest performance enterprise-class access point for high-bandwidth 802.11n networks, during its participation at GITEX 2007 from September 8 to 12, 2007.

Trapeze and EMW, one of the Middle East's most innovative information and communication technology service providers, and also Trapeze's industry partner in deploying its network solutions based on different wireless LAN requirements, will set up their exhibition at Stand 20, DIC pavilion of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Trapeze expects to draw attention to their demonstrations in view of the growing interest on the tremendous advantages of high-performance wireless solutions such as the MP-432, whose industry-leading features include an unprecedented data transfer rate up to 700 per cent higher than current products in the market.

"GITEX 2007 presents the perfect platform to unfold the enormous progress Trapeze Networks has achieved in the development of 3rd generation wireless technology using the patented SmartMobile architecture. We have prepared exciting presentations and product demonstrations for the thousands of senior technology managers and chief information officers at the event. This includes the new Smart Mobile 802.11n capable Mobility Point MP-432, Smart Mobile Mobility System Software version 6.2 and our just released SmartPass 1.0 Hospitality Guest Access Management application. Smart Mobile technology, which features a combination of software and hardware solutions developed to support wireless LAN deployments and mission-critical applications of any scale, are expected to draw major attention during this edition of GITEX," said Feras Zeidan, Regional Manager MEA, Trapeze Networks.

Taking advantage of Trapeze's unique Smart Mobile Architecture, the MP-432 dramatically expands output without the need to upgrade the switching infrastructure. The MP-432 is also the first enterprise-level draft 2.0 solution for the 802.11n standard, while it also fully supports legacy protocols such as the 802.11a/b/g.

"We eagerly look forward to our collaboration with Trapeze Networks at GITEX. We will work closely with Trapeze to create a compelling demonstration of the tremendous benefits of its newly developed wireless solutions," said Serjios EL-Hage, Vice President, East Meets West.

Also up for exhibition is the Trapeze Advanced Mobility System Software (MSS), which delivers the industry's highest wireless reliability and availability. The MSS is also part of Trapeze's next generation Smart Mobile technology.

The Smart Mobile Phase Two solution, which builds on and extends the company's original Smart Mobile solution, recently helped the company win the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Award for Industry Innovation and Advancement of the Year for the European market.  The award citation noted that Smart Mobile Phase Two adds a critical new dimension to today's WLAN deployments that is genuinely new to the market.

"Trapeze continues to raise the bar of excellence with next generation products and seamless integration of technologies. Through GITEX, we will be able to connect and interact better with out target markets, allowing them to appreciate more the sincerity of our efforts to develop products that deliver premium value to all our customers," concluded Zeidan.
