Last chance to win 2 BMW Cars, Dhs. 100,000 Cash
Dubai, 21 August, 2004: Point of sales areas and outlets selling tickets in the Dubai Summer Surprises Grand Raffle Draw have reported massive interest in the astonishing raffle scheme which is offering one more chance to residents and visitors to take home two more BMW cars and a further Dhs. 100,000 in cash.
Ibrahim Saleh, Chief Operations Officer of DSS, said that since ticket sales opened last Saturday, people have been snapping up the Dhs. 200 raffle tickets at Emarat stations and special ticket kiosks ahead of the 7th and final draw.
The raffle, the first of its kind, is being organised by the DSS Office, in association with Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC), and Emarat. As part of the promotion, one winner walks away with a prize package worth Dhs 450,000 at every draw. This consists of a BMW X3, a BMW 520i and Dh100,000 in cash at every draw. Dubai Business Channel telecasts the proceedings live during the Grand Summer Raffle draws. A new draw is held for every 5,000 tickets sold.
"Strike it rich in Dubai during DSS" seems to be the catch phrase if one is to go by the rush to buy tickets. Mr. Saleh said that the Grand Summer Raffle draws have been attracting a lot of attention and the promotion has evoked a very encouraging response from residents and visitors alike.
"This promotion has stirred the public's imagination because of the vast opportunities it offers winners, some of whom have undergone a dramatic transformation in their lives a a result of the mind-boggling prize package. We anticipate a bigger rush for tickets as we move towards to the final day of DSS".
Raffle tickets, which cost Dhs. 200 each, are available at 33 Emarat stations across the emirate, and are also being sold in other locations - Deira City Centre, BurJuman Centre, Baniyas Square, Al Fahidi Street and the Gold Souk.
Among the Emarat Stations where the tickets are made available include Al Khubaisi, Hor Al Anz, Kuwait, Al Awir, Nad Al Hamar, Beach, Jebel Ali, Naharwan, Dana, Al Wejdan, Al Muhaisna, Taqniya, Muteena, Al Bustan, Al Madares, Galadari, Atrium/C-Store, Abu Khadra, Bridge, Karama, Al Wasl, Bin Hendi, Dubai Internet City, Al Rajhan, Al Raed, Garhoud, Safa Park, Lamtara, Chicago Beach, Al Dhiyafa, Al Adhed, Al Hassa, Umm Suqueim, and Jatabiyah (Ras Al Khor).
