Renovated entertainment facility forms a core part of center's recent redevelopment activities
Dubai, January 7, 2006: Deira City Centre (DCC) recently launched the new and improved 'Magic Planet' to a large number of enthusiastic patrons and families. The entertainment centre's major overhaul comes as exciting news for families as they can now enjoy a wide variety of brand new games, rides and food outlets.
Some of the new rides and games include a thrilling six meter drop tower, a suspended swing, fast action bumper cars, a water shooting game named [L1] Bob's Space Races, an interactive video wall which has been labeled as the ultimate scientific experience and a plethora of other brand new rides and games.
Craig Hart, General Manager at Magic Planet said: "Our objective from the beginning was to create an entertainment facility that's appealing to the entire family. We carefully selected our rides and games to cater to this target audience. We really hope that our customers have as much fun using them as we had selecting them. "

Deira City Centre is currently undergoing an AED 250 million refurbishment project that will include an upgrade of facilities, new stores and a revamped Food Court. The enhanced Food Court will offer customers increased number of seats, better choice and range in food outlets as well are larger toilet amenities. The new fashion precinct which recently opened, offers shoppers a choice of 12 different international fashion houses.
