First woman to win 'The Lighting Designer of the Year award' to speak at The GCC Infra Lighting Concepts Summit in September.
The GCC Infra - Lighting Concepts Summit hosted by Fleming Gulf has been rescheduled for 16th and 17th September, 2013 in Doha, Qatar. The summit will bring together the leaders from the lighting industry to discuss crucial issues and challenges in adopting smart lighting technologies from a holistic point of view. Lighting solution experts and summit sponsors Saudi Lighting Company, iGuzzini and Thorn Lighting will showcase their designs and concepts that have created international benchmarks. PLDA (Professional Lighting Designers Association) which is one of the prime association for lighting designers around the world will be the Official Endorsers for the Lighting Summit
The summit will host over 20 industry speakers and notably, Florence Lam, the first woman to win the coveted Lighting Designer of the Year award at the 11th Annual Lighting Design Awards. Florence, who is the global lighting design leader of Arup's Global Lighting Design Practice will share her views on master planning and adopting an integrated approach to urban lighting. Florence along with other reputed lighting experts will focus their presentations to aid in re-inventing the GCC's architectural lighting industry to live up to the future expectations.
