Twin Towers to be Tallest Structures in World's First Integrated Sports City; Commercial Destination will Attract Major Corporate Tenants

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai Sports City today launched The Gateway, the iconic twin towers at the entrance to the world's first integrated sporting destination.

As the first commercial property released by Dubai Sports City, it is anticipated that The Gateway will be among the most sought-after addresses within the entire Dubailand project.

The classic silver and black towers will be the icon of Dubai Sports City and the tallest structures within the entire development. Developers are expecting strong international demand with its world-class design and prime positioning.

Designed by Arif & Bintoak Consulting Architects and Engineers, famous for high-end projects such as the Raffles Hotel at Wafi City, The Gateway will combine stylish architectural design with an impressive range of features and functionality.

"The Gateway will be the icon of Dubai Sports City. Standing at the entry to the entire development, it will provide an ideal headquarters for businesses looking to position themselves for global growth," said U. Balasubramaniam, CEO, Dubai Sports City.

As the highest point within the mega-project, the high-rise towers will command spectacular views of the entire Dubai Sports City development, including the magnificent stadium district and The Els Club championship golf course.

With a total built-up area of 1,214,225 square feet and 44 floors of offices per tower, The Gateway will offer a range of key facilities, including over 1,000 underground parking spaces, a top floor high-end restaurant, health club and spa and a ground floor coffee shop and business centre.

The Gateway will have access to Emirates Road, providing local and international visitors with convenient access to all parts of Dubai including Jebel Ali waterfront, the historic quarter, and Dubailand. The city's airports, including the new Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as the downtown districts of Jebel Ali and Dubai are a short drive away.

"Executives working at The Gateway are going to receive the full range of benefits that Dubai Sports City has to offer, from a wide range of retail and hospitality options within walking distance, as well as easy access to our world-class sporting venues," said Khalid Al Zarooni, President, Dubai Sports City.

"Our concept has been to create a city and community that offers everything a resident or visitor could want, in terms of facilities, recreation and entertainment, and we feel that we have created the unique business experience with The Gateway," he added.

The Gateway has been designed to maximise space efficiency for tenants using straight lines philosophy to maximize space without compromising comfort. The office spaces can be easily divided to suit one to seven tenants per floor.
