Jet team looks forward to first flight at 400m below Sea Level
Amman, October 26th, 2011-- The Breitling Jet Team, the world's only full-time civilian aerobatics team flying jet aircraft, will be visible across Jordan today as they fly over the country in the lead up to the Breitling Air Show taking place at Marka Airport on Friday.
The pre-Air Show flight will see the team take off from Marka Airport and head north to Jerash and Ajloun before turning south to the Dead Sea where they will fly at 400 m below sea level for the first time in the illustrious history of the Breitling Jet Team. The 7 fast and powerful Breitling Jets and their pilots will then head back towards Amman, flying in formation over the Roman Amphitheatre and the Citadel prior to landing back in Marka Airport.
The Breitling Jet Team leader, Jacques Bothelin, stated, "One of the perks of being part of the Breitling Jet Team is that not only do we get to visit and experience a lot of different countries and cultures, but we are also able to see each country from a viewpoint that most people rarely, if ever, experience - from 2,000 ft in the sky! Jordan is very well known for its historical and touristic sites and we look forward to seeing them from a different perspective as we tour the country from above."
The Breitling Jet Team will conduct two flights over Jordan today, each lasting approximately 45 minutes. The first will take off at 12pm, with a second flight taking place at 3.30pm, providing Jordanian residents outside of Amman with the opportunity to see the Breitling Jets in action.
The display comes a day before an air show that the Breitling Jet Team will be conducting on Friday October 28th at a special event under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Bin Al-Hussein and in collaboration with the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
The air show is being organized by M.S. JAFFAR & Sons Co., the exclusive dealers of Breitling in Jordan, and will feature a display by the Royal Jordanian Falcons followed by a spectacular aerobatics performance by the Breitling Jet Team.

About the Breitling Jet Team
The Breitling Jet Team is unique in its kind, made up of seven extremely fast and powerful L-39C Albatros Czech-made twin-seater military training jets. The pilots are all extremely experienced professionals; most of the team is previously from the French air force or from the Patrouille de France.
