The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF)’s Head of Academics Centre, Dr. Raja Bucheery, announced the provision of scholarships that include an exemption from tuition fees for new students in the International Foundation Programme and the London School of Economics (LSE) Bachelor's degree for the new academic year 2021/2022.

Dr. Raja stated that a waiver of 10% from the fees of the International Foundation Programme will be applied to high school graduates with a cumulative average of 90% or above, and new and current students in the bachelor’s programme in Economics and Management from the University of London will receive a 50% exemption throughout their studies.

Dr. Bucheery noted that the process of submitting exemption requests will be carried out electronically via the institute’s website www.bibf.com/academics/ , where students can fill out the registration form and upload the required documents no later than Tuesday, 30 August 2021.

For his part, the Director of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shaikh, said: “We are always keen to provide high-quality education and encourage students to excel in academic performance, especially in light of the current exceptional circumstances and the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, where we see it as a responsibility to provide equal opportunities for students who wish to advance their academic journeys and qualify for the labour market with value-added jobs.”

He added: "We are proud of the institute's efforts to attract academically distinguished students and help them succeed in their studies, as scholarships are provided in line with the directives of the Bahrain Team, and the BIBF’s social responsibility and belief in promoting creativity and innovation in the Kingdom."

The Director has called on students to follow the developments of the institute's academic programmes through the official social media accounts, in addition to visiting the website for more information about registration for the next semester.
