A 2012 Certificate of Excellence has been awarded to the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai recognising its consistently excellent performance as assessed by visitors to the TripAdvisor website.

The hotel merits a 4 rating, ranking it in the top fifth of all Dubai hotels with more than 80 per cent of reviews evaluating it as 'very good' or 'excellent'.

According to Director of Sales & Marketing, Mohamed Anwar, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a tremendous sales tool in the new world of social media and travel marketing.

"Travellers now make the most of the websites such as TripAdvisor to investigate accommodation options before they travel, and it is vital to have a positive rating," he said.

"We have to deliver a seamless experience for all our guests, and it is heartening to read reviews that praise our team and their efforts to ensure the Taj Palace is a preferred option for those visiting Dubai."

The luxury hotel has 159 rooms and suites of at least 61 sq metres, plus 90 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and the spacious accommodation was another plus point for many guests, he added.
