Sun and Sand Developers (SASD) Group – the renowned Dubai-based developer of prime properties – has officially inaugurated ‘Sunshine Residences’ building, the group’s latest residential development comprising exclusive 3 BHK duplex apartments (40 units) in centrally located Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The AED106 million ‘Sunshine Residences’ building was fully completed on time and was officially inaugurated on December 18, 2016 by Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer - Operations & Client Affairs, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, who cut the customary silk ribbon at the main entrance of the imposing and aesthetically pleasing building.
VIP guests at the glittering inauguration ceremony included representatives from Dubai Land Department, Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), prominent real estate brokers, media and customers of ‘Sunshine Residences’.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi said: “It gives me great pleasure to inaugurate this beautiful new residential project in the heart of Dubai Silicon Oasis. The owners of these new homes are to be commended for investing in such a fine project. I also take this opportunity to congratulate Sun and Sand Developers Group for completing this project on time and for choosing Dubai Silicon Oasis as a prime location for the project.”

Customers who have bought into the ‘Sunshine Residences’ project have expressed their satisfaction with the fully completed project, with a happy buyer, Mr. Estifanos Abebe Seyoum, saying: “We feel that we have been a part of building our home. We were constantly updated about the progress of the work on the project through constant construction bulletins. When I see the completed project today, there are so many additional things than I expected.”
Another satisfied buyer, Mr. Abdul Hafiz El Hilali, said: “I trust the developer [Sun and Sand Developers] because my offices are also in their earlier completed building, ‘Suntech Tower’. Thus, in a way, we were assured of the project being fully completed whilst investing in the project. I really like how the building has turned out; especially the common areas and the pool deck. Although SASD launched the ‘Sunshine Residences’ project in October 2014, the group opted to host the project’s formal inauguration ceremony only on final completion of the prestigious project, unlike the otherwise customary practice among local developers.
The ‘Sunshine Residences’ building comprises magnificent 3-bedroom duplex homes, each with its own private terrace and offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the bustling Dubai Silicon Oasis. Only a few units are currently available for sale in the building.
