Abu Dhabi, UAE, 12 August 2014 - Stratos, a unique rotating restaurant, located at the highest point of the majestic Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi, will open its doors to Abu Dhabi's dining connoisseurs in mid-September. Towering as a beacon above the capital and celebrating the idea of beauty in motion, Stratos aspires to take the hospitality experience to the next level, from the five-star welcome to the personalized service philosophy. Guests will revel in Stratos' status as the only revolving bar and lounge concept in the capital, whilst enjoying perfectly crafted beverages and exquisite bites from the lounge or a la carte menu.

Drink in the unique ambiance whilst taking in the chic interiors and the panoramic cityscape that opens up as the restaurant gently revolves around its 360 axis. Return to marvel at the evolving view from day to night, whether azure skies for a gourmet Afternoon Tea, a seductive sunset during cocktail hour or the after-dark atmosphere that lends itself to decadent nighttime adventures until the early hours.

Stratos' decor will include opulent features, including a black and gold colour scheme, designed to enhance the epicurean journey. The innovative menu features an array of international flavours, prepared under the watchful guidance of Executive Head Chef Justin Galea and Chef De Cuisine Grant Balinger. Each dish reflects extensive travel, created with seasonal produce sourced from the finest global suppliers.

From its eclectic selection of freshly prepared drinks, the 360 views of the city, and lavishly gastronomic experiences, Stratos promises to take guests on a true 'journey of the senses'.
