Strategic Marine, a leading specialist ship builder, has appointed two senior executives to further boost its presence in key international maritime markets.

Jim Fraser and Rob Boersma, have both joined Strategic Marine with considerable experience in the international specialist boat building and maritime technology sectors.

Both have been appointed as business development managers in their regions.

Jim Fraser will focus on the United Kingdom market and is based in Scotland. Prior to joining Strategic Marine, Jim held several key leadership roles in maritime companies such as AMI Marine, Taylors and McCorkills where he established a significant network of contacts and business associates in the maritime industry.

Rob Boersma will be based in Singapore and will specialise in developing the crew and work boat markets in specific regions. Rob has an impressive track record in the maritime industry and joins Strategic Marine from IHC Asia Pacific, the Dutch maritime technology company.
