Beirut, 14 Septembre 2012: On August 20, 2012 the CEO and President of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, was granted the Concorso "La Bella Macchina" Hall of Fame award in recognition of his innovative efforts for the super sports car manufacturer in Italy. The high profile Concorso Italiano is an annual celebration of Italian achievements in the domain of style creation and comes also in the occasion of the Monterey Classic Car Week.

Originally from Rome, Winkelmann has been the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini since 2005 and has spent the last seven years helping to turn the company drastically around by increasing sales for the Italian manufacturer.

Mr. Michel Trad, Director Saad and Trad, the exclusive trader of Lamborghini in Lebanon, congratulated Mr. Winkelmann for winning this international prize and commended his efforts in making a fantastic shift in the Italian car company. He said: "Let's remember that this accomplishment is the fruit of Mr. Winkelmann's focus on designing and implementing a smart strategy for Lamborghini's sports range car while launching the iconic Aventador and leading the intensive investment in new technologies and building state-of-the-art facilities to produce new carbon fiber monocoques, not forgetting that the President of the company contributed also in establishing a strong dealership network for Lamborghini around the world."

At a private separate event Mr. Winkelmann also received a trophy from prestigious Robb Report for its annual best of the best issue naming the Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 as "The Best of the best Sports Car". The award is the culmination of an entire year's worth of research conducted by the magazine's editors for the luxury most recognized icon products.
