Industry experts will join together to discuss their views on the most pertinent topics of this technical discipline

Dubai, UAE (10 September 2013)

With the theme 'New Approaches in Characterisation and Modelling of Complex Reservoirs',the 2013 SPE Reservoir Characterisation and Simulation Conference and Exhibition (RCSC) takes place 16-18 September 2013 at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The opening ceremony taking place 0900-1000 hours on Monday, 16 September 2013 will include remarks by Khalid Sahouh, Senior Vice President (NEB), ADCO and Fareed Abdulla, SPE Regional Director, Middle East, North Africa and India; Senior Vice President, BAB and GAS Asset, ADCO.

Eighteen technical sessions along with knowledge sharing ePoster stations will offer over 100 presentations from more than 50 companies and 20 countries covering topics such as IOR/EOR Modelling, Reservoir Monitoring and Management, Formation Evaluation and Petrophysics, History Matching, Geostatistics and Static Modelling, Integrated Modelling and much more.

An exhibition hosting some of the industry's most renowned regional and international companies will run alongside the conference with participation from ADNOC, Baker Hughes, IFP Middle East Consulting, Ingrain Rocks, Lithicon, Resoptima AS, Schlumberger, Sciencesoft, Weatherford, and Wintershall.
